For analog media, the crucial first step is converting it to digital format. This involves carefully scanning, copying, or recording each item into a computer, making it the most time-consuming part of the process. Rest assured, your precious memories will be handled with the utmost care and attention.

BASIC:

Track/event separation services available: for cassettes with individual songs, each track will be saved as a separate file. For long VHS tapes with multiple events, each event will be separated into individual files instead of a single lengthy video as best as possible!

• Simple noise reduction as appropriate

*All services are included to ensure the digital footage closely matches the restored original.

ADVANCED:

• Title pages

• Lower thirds

• Intro/outro pages

• Basic digital effects

For example, if you have a VHS tape with 7 different “events on it”, the included editing would separate each of these into separate videos and be processed to be as authentic as possible. The Advanced Editing tier will give you on screen labelling of each of those events. Lower thirds to signify what/when the footage is of, or a simple title page that indicates this before the video begins.

For digital media, a Google Drive link will be provided for downloading your files. For a small fee, everything can be placed on a single flash drive (unless there’s a large amount of media).

For analog media converted to digital, a personal Google Drive link will be provided to view your media as it’s processed. This online access is included in the conversion price.

DVDs and CDs of converted videos can also be made upon request (see the "PRICING" page for details). Photos can be placed on a DVD in their raw format or, for an additional fee, a DVD slideshow can be created for compatibility with both computers and DVD players.

In the digital age, accessing converted media can be challenging, as many laptops lack CD drives and home theaters often don't have DVD players. If you’re facing this issue, CDs and DVDs can be transferred to a flash drive or cloud storage service (such as Google Drive or Dropbox). This is a quick process since the conversion is already complete—only the data needs to be copied.
