PIANO TUNING & REPAIR
“Ron brings a lifetime of musicianship and mechanical expertise to your piano! Whether it just needs a tune, some minor tweaks to fix a few “sticky notes” or more extensive repairs, Weiler Creative Media can get you up and playing.”
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Pianos should be tuned at least once or twice a year, with regular maintenance ensuring optimal sound quality. Most are tuned to A440, where the A above middle C vibrates at 440 Hz. Environmental factors like temperature and humidity can affect tuning stability, making a controlled setting crucial. The tuning process, performed by a skilled professional, typically takes 2-3 hours and involves adjusting over 200 strings under tension to achieve precise pitch. Regular tuning not only enhances your piano’s sound but also prolongs its life, providing a better playing experience.
